This is an intensive, two-day program that provides intermediate-level development professionals with an overview of fundraising skills and techniques.  Course content is based on the domains covered in the CFRE certification examination and is aimed at those who would like to improve their development skills, learn to raise more money more efficiently, or broaden their current skills.  If you have already applied to take the test, this is the perfect refresher course.  Or, get ready for the next exam by completing this training now!

Speakers:
Stephanie Cory, CFRE
Stephanie is Vice President of Education & Professional Development of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of AFP. She is the Director of Development for The Arc of Chester County and has provided consulting services to a variety of human services and education organizations. Stephanie earned a BS and MS from the University of Southern California. She received her designation as a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) from the American College and is completing a certificate in marketing and communications from the Nonprofit Center at La Salle University. Stephanie is a graduate of the AFP Faculty Training Academy and serves on the board of the Junior League of Wilmington.
 
Michelle Gollapalli, CFRE
Michelle is the Associate Director of Principal & Major Gifts at the national Alzheimer’s Association, serving three chapters within the association’s network covering the tri-state area. Michelle has served non-profits in the Greater Philadelphia Region for the past 12 years in a variety of fields, such as broadcasting, health care, youth services, and education. She has served as Vice President of Membership Services for the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of AFP and serves on the board of directors for the Children’s Village. Michelle earned an undergraduate degree and an MBA in marketing from the Mount Carmel Institute of Management in India. She recently completed her Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) certification from the American College.
 
Theresa Haenn, CFRE
Theresa is Board Chair of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of AFP. She is currently Vice President Development for the Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter. A professional fundraiser since 1999, Theresa has served long-term care organizations, PresbyHomes Foundation and Simpson Senior Services, as well as the Methodist Home for Children. She earned a BS from Rosemont College and an MBA from Drexel University.
 
Patrick Feeley, CFRE
Pat has been fundraising in the non-profit sector since 1993. He is the Assistant Vice President for Institutional and Event Fundraising at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation. Prior to this position, he was Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations for La Salle University and before La Salle worked for Junior Achievement. Pat earned a BA from Millersville University and MBA from La Salle University. He is an active member of Rotary International and serves as a board member of the Clean Air Council and the Association of Fundraising Professionals International.
 
Jane Konefsky, CFRE
Jane is the Director of Major Gifts at Rowan University. With over 15 years’ experience in the non-profit sector, Jane has worked in academia, health care, and social service agencies as a development director, executive director, and consultant. She has taught fundraising courses for Villanova and Temple Universities. Jane holds a masters in management from The Johns Hopkins University and has been an active AFP-GPC and Partnership for Philanthropic Planning of Greater Philadelphia member.
 
Gloria Pugliese, CFRE
Gloria is President of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of AFP. She is Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at La Salle University. Gloria has over 10 years of fundraising experience, including extensive experience in writing grants for programs in the arts, education, and biomedical research. She recently completed her MBA at La Salle University.
 
Sherri Wilcauskas, CFRE
Sherri the Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations at Philadelphia University. Prior to holding this position, she served as a grants professional for Widener University and The Franklin Institute. She holds an MA from University of Pennsylvania and an AB from Mount Holyoke College. In addition, the has earned certifications from The Grantsmanship Center and the Nonprofit Center at La Salle University. She is a board member of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of AFP.
